Ibn Sina

Ibn Sina was born in 980 C.E. in the village of Afshana near Bukhara which today is located in the far south of Russia. His father, Abdullah, an adherent of the Ismaili sect, was from Balkh and his mother from a village near Bukhara.

In any age Ibn Sina, known in the West as Avicenna, would have been a giant among giants. He displayed exceptional intellectual prowess as a child and at the age of ten was already proficient in the Qur'an and the Arabic classics. During the next six years he devoted himself to Muslim Jurisprudence, Philosophy and Natural Science and studied Logic, Euclid, and the Almeagest

He turned his attention to Medicine at the age of 17 years and found it, in his own words, "not difficult". However he was greatly troubled by metaphysical problems and in particular the works of Aristotle. By chance, he obtained

a manual on this subject by the celebrated philosopher

al-Farabi which solved his difficulties.

Zayed

Zayed was born in 1918 and named after his grandfather, Shaikh Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, who has the longest reign in the emirate's history, ruling Abu Dhabi from 1855 to 1909. His grandfather is also known as “Zayid The Great” and “Zayed the First”, and had played a large role in forging unity between the tribes of Oman and leading the Bani Yas tribe.
Zayed's father, Shiekh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ruled Abu Dhabi between 1922 and 1926. Then Zayed's uncle, Shaikh Saqr bin Zayed Al Nayhan, reigned followed by by Zayed's eldest brother, Sheikh Shakhbut in 1928. After his father died in 1927, Zayed moved to the oasis of Al Ain, approximately 160 kilometers east of the island of Abu Dhabi, where he spent the rest of his youth. There he underwent religious education, and learned the Noble Quran and was deeply moved by the biography of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Mohamed Bin Rased

Mohamed Bin Rashed was born in 1949. He lived in the past in Shandgh. The first school he went is Al Ahameduh School.In 1995 he was crown prince of Dubai. he has 4 wifes and more children .On January 4th 2006, Sheikh Mohammed became the Ruler of Dubai following the death of Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum. On January 5th, the members of the Supreme Council elected Sheikh Mohammed the UAE Vice President.

My best holiday

I've ever had, I went to France with my family.We took the plane for Dubai to London .London airport was great and it was one of the biggest airport in the world.It's called 'Heathrow'.We spent one week in London then we went to France by a boat. We spent 2 weeks there and we had fun.France is a very beautiful con try,the weather was nice. We stayed in a small nice hotel, it was run by an old lady.Near the hotel there was a small park and went there to play.We visited the Eiffel tower and from the top of the tower we saw a nice view of France. Also we went to Disney land and it's one of the biggest intertament cities the word .We sawMicky mouse and Goofy .Also we went shopping and it's great .Then we visited asmall town .We saw caws and old houses .It was the deast holiday and Iwant to go again
